My daughter has started a new blog, which I find very entertaining, and very useful.  It has encouraged me to try to make my own bread again.  And this time without the bread machine!!

Herb Garden Note Cards

I don't know why, but I love garden cards, maybe because I love gardening. I'm just not very good at it.  My husband calls the planters caskets since I usually kill the plant!  I had such a delightful time illustrating these herb cards for my Praise Packs shop. These are note cards that actually have a pack of seeds inside each card.  It's a perfect gift for any of your gardener friends.

There are so many verses in the bible that relate to gardening. I think maybe my next card will be with a big sunflower with the verse, Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18

My First Blog

Ok, let me start off by saying my name is Yvonne, and I've started an online business named Praise Packs.  I have a blast putting together an assortment of packs that hopefully bring encouragement to the people who receive them.  Each item in the pack has a fun illustrated tag that includes a scripture verse.  Like, for the lip balm the verse is; O Lord, open my lips that my mouth may declare thy praise. Psalm 51:15.  For soap, or bath gel the verse is; Create in me a clean heart, O God. Psalm 51:10.  So, I guess you could say my packs are based on scripture.  I do have a main verse that I feel describes what I am trying to accomplish.  For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.  Romans 15:4
